The box was unveiled by the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire alongside local school children, with a commemorative plaque fitted to the rear. A small but significant piece of postal history.

Although not confirmed due to NDA restrictions, enquiries and research indicate it was manufactured by WEC Fabrication, who have confirmed they produce this type of box.
