What this page is
This is a filtered list of discussion threads started as a Research request. Someone has flagged that they still need specific information, often for a linked postbox on the map. It is a to-do board for contributors who can help with photos, plates, dates, or subtype details.

What it is not
- Identification help (“what type is this?”) uses a separate discussion type and does not appear here.
- General chat or historical questions without a research request are listed on the main discussions hub.
- Postboxes that simply lack photos on the map are not shown here unless someone has opened a research request thread.
When a helpful reply solves the request, the thread author can mark it as the helpful answer. You can also start a request from a postbox page when prompted, or choose Research request when creating a new discussion.
